About Masjid

Founded in 2012, the Florence Islamic Center (FIC) was acquired to provide a place of worship and guidance for Muslims in the Shoals area. What began as a small prayer gathering has grown into a dynamic center that brings people together for prayer, education, and service. Our mission is to promote Islam through good character, sincere service, and compassion for all. We aim to strengthen faith, support families, and serve as a bridge between Muslims and the broader community. We invite you to join us for daily prayers, Friday Jumu’ah, educational programs, and community events. Whether you are new to Islam, visiting Florence, or a lifelong resident, you’ll find a welcoming home here.
